5 Spring Color Combinations to Try in 2022

One thing I love about spring fashion is the vibrant and fresh colors that come into the mix. While winter was full of rich, deep neutrals like black, browns, creams, grays and white; spring is all about bringing back bold colors with fresh and bright combinations .

I’m a huge fan of playing with color combos to make a stylish statement. This spring we’re seeing vibrant oranges, pinks, greens and blues in combination with soft pastels such as lilac and light pink.

These combinations offer a fresh and bold addition to your look.

Here are some of the color combinations I’m most excited to try out during spring 2022

Pink and Orange

Lime Green and Blue

Orange and Blue

Pink and Green

Pink and Orange

I’m a sucker for this bright color combination. We’ll be seeing a lot of hot pink in the upcoming months so I’m super excited to experiment with this color combination this spring!

While, we’re seeing bright and vibrant oranges paired with hot pink, there are still so many different ways to try out this color combo. Colors like pastel pink, pastel oranges and bubble gum pink would all make for a great way to achieve this color combination.

Sometimes busting out the bold colors can be a huge adjustment, especially if it’s not something you typically wear. If you want to try this color combination but aren’t comfortable or confident going so bold:

Style Tip:

Try one of the bolder options and pair it with a softer or lighter version. For instance, try a bold orange with a light pink. This can help you achieve the combination in a subtle way.

Lime Green and Blue

We saw this lime green color pop up in late winter and I am totally here for it. I think the lime green and blue combination is a fresh and fun way to enter spring in style.

Style Tip:

Use accessories to help achieve color combinations

Orange and Blue

I love this luscious color combination! I’m especially excited to play with different shades of blues as accent colors.

Here’s another reminder that there’s always a way to soften a color combination. Denim is also considered a shade of a blue!

You can easily use different washes of your favorite jeans to get this spring color combination. Or, throw in your favorite denim jacket with a pair of orange pants or skirt with a white or cream cami, t-shirt, long sleeve, etc.

Recreating This Spring Color Combo

Here’s my recreation of an Orange and Blue color combination I found on Pinterest.

I love the challenge of recreating an outfit! It’s a fun way to find new looks and get inspired. I always start with what’s in my closet rather than buying new items based on someone else’s style.

The key is to stay true to yourself & use the look as inspiration rather than a carbon copy.

Plus, I chose this look specifically because I knew I had similar items in my closet.

I added a mock neck shirt under the button up because I love how it looks layered.

It’s a combination that’s a signature in my style.

One way I help recreate a look is by using similar accessories .

I went with :

  • Small dainty hoops instead of big ones

  • A light pink cross body instead of a mauve colored clutch

  • White mule slides instead of blue strappy heels

Pink and Green

Talk about a fresh way to add some color this spring! I love the different possibilities this color combination has:

  • Light or Pastel Pink and Dark Green

  • Lime Green and Bright Pink

  • Mint Green and Bubble Gum Pink

Plus so many different variations in between.

You’re sure to find a combination that is authentic to you.
